Paprika-For-Now is learning that the hand is a friend. She'll bluff at me first, but then she'll stretch for my hand to say hello. We're making progress.
I think Paprika-For-Now is ready to go out into the world, but she's going to need an experienced handler. She's intelligent, nervous, and a little spicy but she can be quite sweet when she is respected and supported.
Was wondering what morph is that beautiful dark red/pink baby snake with the yellow flower photos? It's so beautiful!
Hey, friend!
I'm going to assume you're referring to this photo, yes?
That little sweet noodle is an Amel, short for 'amelanistic.' Their mother, Hatshepsut, is what's referred to as a Sunglow Amel which means an Amel corn snake that has been selectively bred to display very vibrant red and orange pigments with little or no white saddle borders. Their red and pink tones are more extreme because they're a baby; babies are more pink and they get more orangey as they grow!
They're quite striking and one of my favorite morphs.
I hope this answers your question!
