“Shit…!” the word slipped from the younger Runnels boy’s mouth before he even realized who he just ran into. Blue eyes glanced over at the familiar face he had run into, soon joined by his almost unnaturally white smile.
“Well, well, well,” he spoke up, “Been a while since I’ve seen you around, April. But then again, I guess we run in different circles now.” Wasn’t that the truth? But regardless…
“How’s being a best-selling author treating you?”
It was always strange to her at how big this world was yet you were still able to bump into people you knew in this most unexpected places. Especially faces who you haven’t seen in years in person. "Oh fuck!” she stopped herself before she even knew who it was. Brown eyes glanced upwards and saw that face and it made her show a small smile as she composted herself again. “Yeah. Hey. Long time no see. Been busy with some things. Projects and what not. You know how it is. Got another book in the works so I’ve been a busy woman lately. I heard you’ve got a promotion of your own in the works. That’s pretty cool I can only imagine.”
