A Misunderstanding | Closed RP

In the forest, there is a blood trail of corpses. Corpses that belong to otherworldly beings that don’t belong here. 

The creature received a task from the townspeople as few came to its den church requesting help while offering their tributes as payment. Of course, the beast can’t ignore so it obliges to help them by getting rid of these pests that were terrorizing them in the first place. 

So far, the beast got rid of some along the way. But the beast figured there’s still more. Still searching, the beast had its ear open and sniffing through the air while walking on fours with its long tail behind her.  It went into a clearing then it took a sharp pause. 

“.....!?” Hold on. That smell...

It isn’t a demon but it isn’t human either. What is it??

A Misunderstanding || Setzer & Mustadio

"From Daryl’s nightstand drawer," Setzer seethed, throwing the hair tie at Mustadio’s feet. "Do you know how many were there? Five.”

At this revelation, the assembled crew in the hallway who were stuck in the midst of the sudden outburst from their captain looked conflicted as to whether the gossip was juicy enough to risk openly listening in on.

"Does she like your hair down? Is that what she tells you?" he taunted, fists trembling like he was trying to hold back from punching Mustadio right in the face. He couldn’t parse out in his mind which hurt him more: the thought of Daryl with Mustadio, or the thought of Mustadio with Daryl… hell, was there even a difference? He was certain there was.

When he spoke again, it was between git teeth. "How long has this been going on?"

What?!!

Mustadio stared first at the tie on the floor then at Setzer. Daryl’s nightstand? Why were they hidden inside Daryl’s nightstand drawer? And why were Setzer looking inside Daryl’s drawer? And if Setzer didn’t steal them, why would Daryl do so? This made no sense.

He slowly breathed through his nose and raised his hands up. “Look, I don’t know what these were doing in Daryl’s drawers but they have been disappearing for the last few days. Is Daryl doing it? Maybe. Why is she doing it? No idea. Maybe she thinks it funny. And last time I checked, you were the one nagging me about the way I dress, not Daryl.”

Mustadio pushed back the bandana he used to keep his hair away from his face and stared down at Setzer. “I am not sleeping or moving onto Daryl, Setzer. I know what she means to you.”
