for the character list thing, a character you wish you got to talk abt more? if not then viper bc idk much about kfp but i love her

favorite thing about them: its very rare to see friendly snakes in media. most of em are hissing with thin scary pupils, its refreshing to see a snake character that features the Cute aspects of a snake (kind eyes and a :3 mouth)

least favorite thing about them: this extends to the rest of the five (excluding tigress), but how little development she gets. while i like tigress, she tends to overshadow every other member of her team

favorite line: i literally cannot remember any of viper’s lines, which is absolutely Criminal considering who her va is

brOTP: with the rest of the five, but crane and tigress partiularly

OTP: either w mei mei or tigress

nOTP: one time i saw someone shipping her w shifu which, Nah

random headcanon: whenever they’re out on missions, viper is the one most likely to sight see and get little souvenirs. this is how she and monkey bonded after their initial rocky start

unpopular opinion: a part of me thinks that the only reason that crane/viper exists is a case of pairing the remaining two characters. tigress has po, and monkey and mantis are seen as those two bros, that pairing them up feels… a little bit of an afterthought. yeah ok they’re the Nice Characters, but their interactions with each other never stood out to me ? i dont get the ship

favorite thing about them: honestly one of the better characters introduced to the new tv series

least favorite thing about them: something about the vocal delivery of certain lines kinda rubs me the wrong way. maybe its just her growly tone clashing against certain emotional beats

favorite line: her exchange w xiao about how she should think more for herself / become self-reliant in an example thing. she tells her to jump off a cliff as part of a lesson, and xiao objects. her kinda smug tone when she says “oh, but you’re a lynx, surely you’ll land on your feet” is one that stands out

brOTP: xiao. sometimes a family is just a child empress, a former henchmen monk to the villain, and the rest of the crew of said monk

OTP: n/a

nOTP: puts the obvious jindiao/jade tusk out

random headcanon: very bitey as a child. listen when two knives grow out of your face you gotta capitalize on it by picking fights with people twice your size. also her group of monks p much become xiao’s personal protectors post s2 since the guards before were Disloyal As Heck

unpopular opinion: literally i think the only reason why people gave her the time of day– considering how much people were so against this show for the longest time because the five or shifu weren’t going to show up– is because she reminds them of tigress

i honestly thought this was shanks until i read the post

he does look pretty much exactly like him lolll.  which was probably oda’s intention at the time since shanks is shown in that pilot, but could also just be a result of the fact that oda definitely wasn’t as good at facial/design variation at the time haha.  either way, i really doubt luffy will actually look like that when he grows up :”D
