What I imagine is actually happening when all the Voices are reunited with Khlia XD
desdemona says, ' amytis is the youngest of queen esther ( who is also a saint )'s 8 children and xerxes I's favorite child. amytis is the gentlest of xerxes' children, but she can be just as fiery and stubborn as the rest of them. she married megabyzus, a sartrap of babylon, and stateira i ( wife of darius III ) is descended from amytis' line. amytis is usually a peacemaker of xerxes' children, yet she is as sharp and cunning as the rest of them. she is a grounding force to her more fiery warrior husband megabyzus. honestly, amytis reminds me both of gremory and stolas. rhodogune, amytis' elder sister, is the 4th of 8. Rhodogune is spirited and sharp tongued. and she later rules Armenia
And Shirin of Armenia (Khosrow II of Sassanid's wife) is descended from Rhodogune's line. Rhodogune and Amytis overall share a good sisterly bond, especially handling their 6 brothers. '
In the echoing halls of Purgatory, where the souls of the departed debate and reflect, the tale of the royal Persian sisters, Rhodogune and Amytis, often comes up. Here are some of the conversations and musings overheard among the citizens:
A soldier, who had once fought under Xerxes, wipes his brow. "Rhodogune, now there was a woman with fire in her veins. She'd stand up to those six brothers of hers with a tongue sharper than any blade. And Amytis? She'd be the one to calm the waters after Rhodogune stirred them up. It was a perfect balance, those two. One would demand justice, and the other would ensure peace was found."
A scholar, surrounded by a mountain of scrolls, nods thoughtfully. "Amytis had a quiet brilliance about her. A master of diplomacy, even in the most heated family squabbles. Like a soft breeze guiding a ship through a storm. She knew how to bring people together. I always saw her as the heart, while Rhodogune was the sharpened mind."
An old storyteller gathers a small group around. "I always saw Rhodogune as a whirlwind, fierce and untamable, much like her namesake's legend. But Amytis? She was the eye of the hurricane, calm and centered. It's said they would spend hours together, Rhodogune detailing the political dramas and military strategies she’d witnessed, and Amytis, with a gentle smile, would help her find the peaceful resolution. Their bond was a lesson in balance."
A soul, once a diplomat in ancient Babylon, adds, "Amytis, married to Megabyzus... I heard tales of their conversations. Megabyzus, a powerful warrior, would come home full of rage from the political games, and Amytis would just listen, her calm presence a balm to his soul. She was a grounding force, a quiet strength. When her sister Rhodogune ruled in Armenia, it was Amytis’s wisdom that Rhodogune sought, not just the brute force of her husband."
Another soldier laughs. "One time, I heard a rumor that one of their brothers got into a row with a neighboring satrap. He was all for war. Rhodogune went in and berated the brother for being a fool, using her sharp wit to make him reconsider. Then Amytis came in with a well-worded compromise that satisfied everyone. They were a one-two punch of diplomacy. Xerxes was wise to let them handle family politics."
A woman, who had been a handmaiden in the Persian court, whispers, "The other children of Xerxes were a handful, even in a different age. Rhodogune would be the one to call them out on their nonsense, but Amytis... she'd be the one to put them in timeout. Gently, of course, but you always knew she meant business. She was the one who kept the peace, not with force, but with a quiet sense of authority. Like a gentle mother, but one you wouldn't cross."
An old artisan, who had worked on the royal palace, reflects, "Amytis was like the quiet, beautiful tapestry in the grand palace, and Rhodogune was the vibrant, bold centerpiece. One was understated, the other commanded attention, but both were essential to the whole. They represented the two sides of Xerxes's legacy: the vast, grand ambition and the quiet strength of his family. It was a beautiful duality."

Amytis and orange?
Orange: If they could change anything in the world, what would they change?
yoo oh man this is heavy
i think amytis would want to change the way most highbloods think! mainly what they think of the greenbloods and lower castes. their constant downtalking and degrading really puts a damper on her self-worth and if she could get them to see a bigger value in the lower castes it just might lead to everybody getting along for all of one second which is also a thing she wants haha
