There was interesting news from Tails, although it was fairly garbled given where the Island was. The little prodigy never had got it right, but it was MUCH better than it had been before.

Apparently there’s going to be an eclipse in the near future- and the point of the message was to get protective eyewear and something about a party, potentially, though it started to turn to static at that point.

While that might’ve been fun, Knuckles wasn’t even going to bother asking, he knew the answer. He’d just have to make up an excuse about having something come up with some small-time threats, not like it’d be questioned by anyone but Rouge. Competition and all.

That left just a few preparations, and maybe he could have his own little celebration of the celestial event. But first, there were some trees that needed to be felled. Duties first, after all.
