out of hair pins. something that i have been meaning to post about is these thoughts about amélie’s mom and the relationship she has with her. with her dad , even in her childhood , she speaks of how her heart fills with love and how much she enjoys him. hell , the one song she sings about him as a child is brighter than she song she sings about her mother. her mother constantly reminded her that she will always been alone , that everyone in this life is. her mother takes her to notre dame to pray for a son to make everything right again. that’s so fucked up. and then , her mother dies , and her father is filled with such grief that he isolates himself from the world with that damned garden gnome , which gives amélie even more reason to resent her mother. but, i feel as though amélie is conflicted about her feelings of her mother ; resentment is her prominent feeling , but she loved her mother and craved for her to love her back. to this day , she still feels conflicted when the anniversary of her death comes up. she upset and angry and sad and she isn’t sure which emotion is the right one to feel or if they’re all wrong because she never learned.
I should’ve made a post about this earlier, but this blog does have the occasional post of ships that are problematic in nature or contain triggering content but as they are one of my coping mechanisms, they go in my “cope ship” tag as well as the ship name itself so feel free to blacklist that tag to avoid that content.
This is just a note mainly for anyone browsing my blog who cannot install xkit or is on mobile of content that may occasionally appear on my blog in the future
I'm still new here! So please tell me if I did something wrong or such. I'd appreciate.
in this apocalyptic ant furry future that stupid shiny bean in chicago is still around
an add-on to the previous long flashback post
I have always been a bit of an elitist. It was my way of coping with the world around me. I don't wear crop tops not because of my fat belly but because I'm modest and those other girls are sluts (GIRLS I AM SO SORRY I WAS LIKE TWELVE). I don't listen to the same music as literally anyone else I know because my music is complicated and theirs is primitive. Basically I'm smarter than everyone else and everyone who doesn't think so is just too dumb to understand. So how did I come to regard fanfic as a fully legitimate branch of literature? Awesome writers with their own awesome works writing awesome fanfiction for each other, that's how. (ridiculous shipping crossover fanfics of published works by their clearly giggling&trolling authors) (still more quality than 90% of original fiction on neighboring pages)
