PYEONGCHANG2018: France wins the mixed biathlon relay, Martin Fourcade achieves his third gold in this Olympics.

The French team (Marie Dorin, Anais Bescond, Simon Destieux and Martin Fourcade) wins the Olympic arriving alone at the finish line. Silver for Norway, Bronze for Italy that beats Germany in the final turn.

Marie Dorin, Lisa Vittozzi and Vanessa Hinz changed the lead at the end of the first stage, in the second Laura Dahlmeier made the difference for Germany by detaching everyone. At the end of the third the Germany was still in the lead with Erik Lesser, chased by France, Italy and Norway, reported in the race by a fantastic fraction of Johannes Boe.

Martin Fourcad reached Arnd Peiffer after the first polygon and pulled him off after the second. Arnd Peiffer has committed 4 errors ending up behind Emil Hegle Svendsen and losing the sprint for the bronze with Dominik Windisch.

PYEONGCHANG2018: Laura Dahlmeier wins the second Olympic title in two races dominating the biathlon pursuit.

The German won by making only one mistake and with a convincing performance on skis. Laura becomes the first woman’s biathlete to win sprint and pursuit in the same Olympics.
