Writer's Journal Entry: Anamadim
So, while web surfing, I came across a really intriguing subject. It seems that there is an entity (spirit, goddess, demon?) named Anamadim who is linked to what is called the pro ana movement. Some information is floating around out there on the web regarding Anamadim, including a summoning ritual (which, by the way, looks like a very well put together piece of high ceremonial magick), and a few posts in various forums, but nothing comprehensive. So, my mind keeps circling this. It looks like it has the makings of a great short story or novella, but I can't seem to get a direction off the ground for it. A part of me really wants to write such a piece, but another part of me just really wants to read one. So, for the time being, I will keep Anamadin here, and hope that, over time, ideas will start to come together.
