A brow was raised as Robert glanced down at the panicked looking kid that had practically tossed herself at him. He wasn't in his Mecha Man suit but that wouldn't stop him from slipping into that Hero mode he's had for fifteen years.

Lowering himself down to one knee he did a quick once over of her to make sure she wasn't injured in any way before speaking. "You need help? What's wrong, kid? Can you tell me what happened?"

🫥 : how often do they pretend to be fine to keep the peace? - To Perrito

Perrito does it quite frequently, but not because he's afraid of conflict/has a huge fear of conflict (it depends on the situation), but he rather absorbs tension to redirect it into more positive emotion (humor, reassurance, optimism). It is more of a survival strategy; he learned early on that being cheerful and easy makes him emotionally safe. It also makes it easier for people to not leave or fight, etc. He's a kind of character/person that can neglect his emotional needs for others' first. He'd only say he's not fine if he's truly comfortable around another person.

🧷 : who failed them first? - To Hades

One person he feels that 'failed' him in a way is his brother Zeus, although it's not entirely Zeus's fault. The whole Olympian system (aka all the other gods/goddesses) are at fault as well. Zeus, his own brother, had given him a job that Hades never wanted in the first place. Not to mention, Zeus (unintentionally) dismisses his brother with cheerful condescendion (and has in the times he's shown up before), and other deities either ignore him or dislike him in addition (due to conditions on Olympus). Sometimes, other deities talk smack about him amongst themselves, etc. Combine that with resentment and you get siblings that don't get along that much. Hades sees that he doesn't get the respect he deserves and feels outcasted while Zeus is practically the golden child with all the attention and light and leadership.

Also I know it's already kinda established in-movie, but I wanted to expand on it a little more; their relationship I feel isn't too cheery besides that one meeting together ngl

🫀 : what emotion scares them the most? - For Ruber

Ruber isn't scared of emotions themselves and how he reacts to them, but more on how they could threaten his self-image. He is boastful, performative (oftentimes), and aggressive. One that he is primarily scared of would be shame (in extension, humiliation), followed by powerlessness.

Some other emotions Ruber is 'afraid of' is: fear (he portrays himself as fearless; fear = weakness), loneliness, and vulnerability (as a general emotional state). I personally feel that he is somewhat disgusted at these emotions, etc., but if they were to be felt, he'd be conflicted in a way.
