I FOUND SOMETHING HEALTHY IN MY STEPMOM'S KITCHEN. Today the stars have aligned... And birthed a dinner of wild salmon, fresh corn on the cob, and garlic sauteed grape tomatoes and artichoke hearts.

I made chicken skewers and now i'm going to share that recipe with you because it's amazing

ingredients you need

chicken (however much you want, really. be your own cooking captain!)

vegetables that grill well (like onion and bellpepper)

salad dressing - something oil based, not cream based. it's your ~marinade~ (so like, herb and lemon, super good. i used sundried tomato and oregano this time (super fancy kraft)

stuff you need this is like a fake fancy recipe because it's so good but doesn't need much

skewers (like the bamboo kind. or wood? i don't know. i call it bamboo but it's probably fuckin pine or some shit)

a pan. but, a high-sided one. like a brownie pan, or a glass casserole one, or anything with high sides that your skewers fit across

what you do

cut up everything in little goes-on-a-skewer size

put it all in the salad dressing! i used practically an entire bottle (sometimes i save some extra to drizzle on top later. but hardly any)

marinate it overnight

when you're gonna cook it: put the bamboo-or-whatever skewers in water! that keeps them from burning, or something. i don't know. my mom does it. do it.

put all the stuff on skewers! 

then put the skewers over the pan. so it's not touching the bottom of the pan, and the skewer's hung on the sides of the pan? I don't know how to describe it??? just make little chicken bridges across the pan, basically.

bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes, depending on if your oven's as stupid as mine
