My boy Daniel was screaming for help like yeah yk every now and then I feel the vampire loneliness described as the worst pain a vampire can feel and if not that, I sometimes feel like only me and Armand remain in the universe, but yk he kinda orphaned me the second he turned me sooooo I'm really just a mediocre fledgling with no actual powers in a world where every vampire probably wants to kill me. And Louis answer was "lol weird". This is honestly the best thing I've ever seen

crazy reveal that Daniel wrote the book as a vampire, bro was writing about Armand whilst feeling like they're the only two beings in the universe.
so that begs the question, does Daniel's yearning translate in the book?
I think show Armand is going to win a lot of people over when we finally find out how strange he is. He’s just a very odd person but it’s incredibly endearing. If we get the show equivalent of his obsession with movies and technology, I truly think it’ll make way more viewers like him. That’s really what cemented it for me. His hobbies are very silly and so is he and there’s something very sweet about how curious he is. Unfortunately Daniel was the only person he ever felt safe enough around for that behaviour to come out so we have some storms to weather first but we’ll get there eventually and it’ll be so worth it.
It also makes me emotional because I just reread his parts in TVL and he’s in such a dark place. Things are so bleak for him when he meets Lestat, and we’re going to watch him eventually become secure enough around someone to actually start figuring out who he is and what his interests are.
