In his last seconds, Terzo saw the assassins standing behind his brothers. He knew that he, Secondo and Primo would die.

But when Primo and Secondo saw the ghoul killer behind Terzo, they didn't think, "Oh shit, we're all going to die." Their only thought was that their little brother was in danger. Their first thought was that they had to protect Terzo. They wanted to get up and do something, protect him from the inevitable. But it was at that moment that they were all murdered.
