one of my fav writing tropes especially in fanfic is when people get original with embedded blips of external content inside of stories and even more when they visually copy the typography of it. letters (the og), buzzfeed articles, livestream chat, forum comments, text messages, emails, newspaper interviews, its so delicious and SO FUN when you can tell the author has done a considerable effort of modulating their voice so that it is significantly different than the narration and tonally accurate to the media it's supposed to represent. obsessed.
