Eek! I also count Sunday television as among the worst. I believe I developed an aversion to that day of the week because of exposure to such programmes as Songs of Praise, Last of the Summer Wine (but that was a tiny bit okay, if only because it makes me feel nostalgic) and recently, Countryfile. Not that I dislike hymns or the countryside - those are lovely; it is just the feel of those shows that kills it. This isn't a complaint to have these shows improved though, more of an observation of the sadder side of the BBC.
