"Can you walk?" Olooqua to Vinzer
He whimpered and jerked away from her as she knelt down near him, his eyes wide and full of absolute fear. They had sent someone to kill him, and yet... she was being... nice?
"D-Don't... Don't touch me..." It's stuttered, he's in so much pain. He shouldn't have run. He wouldn't have fallen then. He didn't even know where Carsen was, let alone Olu and Larso.
"Intelligence wants you alive," she murmured softly, holding a hand out towards him. "You're one of the brightest we had... They want to keep you in Shadow Town... But alive, kid..."
"No!" He screamed out, squeezing his eyes shut, and trying to drag himself away from her. He couldn't feel his lower legs, could understand what had happened after the crack that had echoed in the small area they were in. But he knew something was dreadfully wrong. The pain was so much.
"D-Daddy!"
She pulled back at how loud he was, eyes immediately looking around in slight worry of the kid's known associates and protectors showing up. "Not this time kid... Sorry... You're coming with me..." She then was grabbing his arm to heft him up, "Can you walk?"
Upon letting him go, he fell back down to the ground, crying out as tears fell from his eyes. No, he couldn't. Hmm... It would make it a little difficult, that was for sure.
"Larso!" The boy screamed once more, this time with a sob. "Carsen! Help!"
"No help for you," she smiled sadly. "Just accept it. Now come along quietly..."
