So yesterday I found out that the dad of someone I talk to used to listen to our conversations while he used his home phone and he knows A LOT of stuff he shouldn't know. I'm disgusted. They were private conversations between me and that person his dad had zero right to listen in. For all I know he could have listened to literally every word we said and know literally everything we talked about. That's terrifying to me. There were so many things that only he and I were supposed to know, but his dad could know all of them too. I feel so violated.
