I hope nobody takes what I'm saying as being bitter or upset but when I feel uncomfortable with something my mama taught me to speak out. That's all I know to do. And there is much appreciation to this movement but the bias and the favoritism is heavy in there too. And I speak for myself first and foremost but also for the awkward black women that are considered only pleasing for their bodies and not their beauty or intellect. I speak for the young black women who don't know how to take compliments because they feel like someone's trying to get something from them due to past experiences. I speak for black women who are considered too strong or intimidating to black men. I speak for alternative black men and women who aren't accepted by their peers or communities. That are looked down upon when they choose to have white friends due to lack of support and acceptance. I speak for all the black women who are insecure and preyed on sexually because of their insecurities. I speak for the black men and women always labeled as cute or adorable. Never beautiful or gorgeous. and the black men and women that are told they're ugly and experience mental illness due to insecurities. I speak for you if you feel you can't speak up because you are beautiful and amazing. There's is not one type of black or beauty. Be the best you and don't worry. You are a movement everyday you get up that you feel alone or insecure. You are a movement. Stay with me. I won't tell you not to be insecure or depressed because that's easier said than done. I know this from experience. But when I tell each and every one of you that you're beautiful and I love you I mean that. My ask box is open for each and every person that may just need to talk or need to laugh or smile. I can't guarantee that I can do it but I can guarantee that I will try.
