            & he didn't, because he'd faced much worse than a VAMPIRE            before. this was the boy who'd defeated the minotaur when he            was merely TWELVE -- & then again, when he was nearly            fifteen. he'd been in tartarus, literally going through hell & back.            he'd defeated beings that were twenty times older than damon.            so, really, it made SENSE why he wasn't quivering in fear at            the sight of the vampire's threatening glare.
