Been trying to 'fast' from buying new books because there are just too many stacks of books that are unread at home- physically and electronically 😖😅 But I guess one of the things I can't resist doing is not to buy my fav author's books especially when I'm nearby his books. The book salesgirl asked me, "There's a second book at the counter . Do you want to include that?" I told her, no, only this one. For now. Sigh. Will the book fast continue? It depends on how interesting I find this book. Can it match the beautiful, spiritually enchanting Bagaikan Puteri series? That is the question. I won't know the answer until I dive into this treasure. One thing for sure- that attracts me to reading this book is that it includes a Bruneian character. Though fictional, it is something to look forward to- just to see how the neighbour sees us in their eyes.
