Dbs characters reacting to a reader who is very similar to them

Note:Hi there! I wanted to apologize for my absence, so I thought I'd spoil you! I tried to include as many characters as possible, and even though it was quite difficult, I finally did it. I worked on it for literally two weeks (😭) and tried to make it as accurate to the characters as possible. But since it's the first time I've written for some of them, I apologize if I didn't capture them perfectly

Son Goku

When Goku first meets you,it's like looking into a mirror, and he is absolutely thrilled about it. As we all know Goku is deeply driven by his desire to fight strong opponents,has a pure-hearted nature, and a somewhat oblivious & carefree attitude. Finding someone who matches that exact wavelength makes him feel like he has found the ultimate training partner and best friend rolled into one.

If you share his bottomless appetite and lack of social filter, Goku is the first one to drag you to a buffet. He loves having someone who does not scold him for eating too much or acting inappropriately at formal events (unlike Chi-Chi or Bulma). Instead, the two of you are usually found vibing in the background of Capsule Corp parties, completely ignoring the conversation in favor of inhaling mountains of food.

When it comes to training,he is SO excited. Most people in his life either tolerate his obsession with fighting or actively try to stop him, so having you constantly asking "Hey, want to spar?" is a dream come true. He doesn't hold back that much with you because he knows you share his thrill for battle. You understand his need to push past limits,and he respects yours.

However, your shared recklessness means that Piccolo or Vegeta often have to step in and yell at both of you when your sparring matches threaten to destroy the surrounding landscape. Goku just laughs it off, rubbing the back of his neck, and you probably do the same.

Vegeta

To be honest Vegeta is initially extremely irritated by you, primarily because you reflect the exact traits he tries to project: unyielding pride, a blunt tongue, and a refusal to back down from a challenge. When you walk into the room with that same haughty energy, his first instinct is to show you that no matter what you think,he is better than you

Your dynamic starts off entirely as a rivalry. If you make a blunt comment, he immediately fires one back. He respects your pride, but he will never admit it out loud. Instead, he shows his respect by treating you as a genuine equal in training. He pushes you to your absolute breaking point in the Gravity Room, and when you refuse to yield,just as he would,he feels a surge of begrudging admiration. You are one of the few people he actually listens to,simply because your bluntness cuts through the noise, and he appreciates someone who does not sugarcoat things.

As you spend more time together, that shared stubbornness turns into a unique bond:you both have a tendency to hide your softer emotions behind a wall of grumpiness (classic tsundere behavior lol) but when you do something genuinely kind or show vulnerability, he understands exactly how much effort it took for you to drop your guard, because he struggles with the exact same thing.

He will never be overly affectionate in public,but he will stand shoulder to shoulder with you,crossing his arms and smirking when you put someone else in their place. To Vegeta, having you around is somehow infuriating,challenging, and deeply comforting all at once.

Gohan

Gohan is incredibly relieved to meet you. Meeting someone who shares his academic passions and calm demeanor is a breath of fresh air for him, especially in a universe filled with space tyrants and monsters who try to conquer the planet every 3 months.

Your relationship is built on quiet and domestic comfort. He loves sitting in the same room with you, surrounded by stacks of books and research papers, just enjoying the comfortable silence. He finally has someone he can excitedly talk to about his academic findings without their eyes glazing over (like Goku's do). You understand his desire to live a normal life, and he appreciates that you never pressure him to train or fight when he doesn't want to.

However,in this case you also share his hidden depths. Gohan is notoriously terrifying when his loved ones are threatened, possessing a deep yet dormant power that surfaces when he is pushed too far. First Meeting | Andorid 17 x Black Fem Reader

The first time you officially met Android 17, Lapis, was during the tournament of power. Being Goku’s only girl, you were spoiled and typically kept secret. Goku wouldn’t want his enemies to know that he is a daddy’s girl. Using it to their advantage and putting you in danger. He couldn’t let that happen. Your dad wasn’t the only one who was protective of you; your older brother, Gohan, was too.

When you first lay eyes on Lapis, you are awed by his immense aura and beauty. Your eyes roamed all around his body, clear interest behind it. You didn’t sense the way Gohan’s whole body tensed. His eyes are watching you intently. It was obvious that you formed a crush on the android. You would shy away from him, wrapping a finger around a coil of your hair. Twisting it as you had that toothy grin on your face. You would be a fool if you didn’t notice it, and Android 17 was no fool.

Lapis would be lying if he said you weren’t cute. He noticed the way you would root him on the sidelines. The way you smiled so brightly when he defeated an enemy. It made a smile come on his face. It even motivated him to work ten times harder to impress you. Which in turn made you cheer him on harder. And when he won the tournament, tears streamed down your cheeks as you cheered loudly.

Getting 17 alone was very difficult, as everyone praised his strength. But when you finally were alone with him, something sweet was in the air. Heart pounding in your chest as you stared down at your hands. For a Sayian, you were pretty timid, Lapis places a reassuring hand on your shoulder. He gives it a slight squeeze and a small smile towards you. It gave you the strength to finally say something. “Congratulations.” Your words were like a soft melody in his ears.

The sweet aroma of strawberries wavering off of your body. Lapis had to fight off his inner thoughts, mentally debating whether or not he could get closer to you. You had such a comforting nature, soft and nurturing. The complete opposite of your family members. Lapis eyes landed on the top of your head; soft curls framed your face perfectly. He studied your features as if in a trance.

You avoided looking at his face, beginning to feel your body becoming hot. Before Lapis could say anything, your brother took you away. He grabs your arm and sends a menacing glare towards 17 before turning to you, his features softening. “You have to be careful," He explains. You roll your eyes at his words. His grip on your arm becomes unbearable as you shake his hand off before fully turning towards him.

See, we won the tournament because of them.” Gohan says no other words before sighing and beginning to scratch at his head. His words became soft. “Just be careful.” He whispers. You nod your head joyfully.

He gulps down his thoughts and looks upwards towards your eyes once again.

When you began to move back, 17 grasped onto your arm, keeping you in place. You raise your eyebrow in confusion. “Lapis is something the matter?” He shakes his head. “Could I put some flowers in your hair?” He gestures to the fluffy fro on top of your head. You let out a small laugh and nod your head happily.

You move to sit straight upwards; you close your eyes as you await for his touch. Lapis used this time to continue to admire your features. He began to pick flowers that resembled your energy, some daisies and roses, which he placed in different locations in your hair.

“You can open your eyes.” You slowly open your eyes to see 17 holding up the phone with the camera app open. You could see the beautiful array of yellow and orange roses and daisies set throughout your hair. The small smile on your lips widens as you admire his work. “Thank you,” You bashfully look up at him. If 17 had a heart, he knew it would be beating very rapidly at this moment.
