Here is a question I have asked a few other bands featured in this issue: What is your opinion on the Norwegian scene now, as compared to when Euronymous was alive?

Then what do you think of all the attention the Norwegian scene has received?

Also hiii mayhemblr I was princess-lvcifer, I posted Mayhem/LOC (and some Emperor) memes and some fics at the end of 2024 (and I was also into Slipknot and Metalocalypse at the beginning of 2025) and then abandoned that blog for this one/other fandoms but Tumblr deleted that acc for some reason this January and I couldn't save it. I wouldn't say I'm in those fandoms again rn but sometimes I feel nostalgic and I miss that era lol 💔 And sometimes I feel like reposting my old memes here but I kinda feel that maybe some hater reported me for some of them? Also I have a ton and it would be too much so I think I would never do it just in case and laziness or just reposting a few of them but anyway hi

Mayhem is literally coming to a festival in my country AND in my region next year for a festival, it's the only date in my country and I want to see them but at the same time ugggh I'm not used to festivals and I have to save money and it's summer IN THE SOUTH OF SPAIN like I can stand the hot weather but it's probably going to be too much and full of 50+ y/o men and I have a high chance of seeing some ex situationships and the band of course it's not the same because there's no Pelle and no Øystein but at the same time I want to see them idk :(

Varg was talking about Euronymous till last year and he probably still does (we just don't see it now) basically he's been hyperfixated on him his whole life, imagine murdering someone spending half of ur life in prison and the other just shit talking them but people still believe he's normal

Who came up with the idea of Live in Leipzig album?

-"Toxic recorded the gig on a ghettoblaster that was put on the floor by the mixing table. Yes, the master tape was recorded using a ghettoblaster! As I remember it, I think it was a BASF or AGFA tape, and it was taped on the recording holes, so it already had some recording on it. We simply taped over it. And it was not a fancy metal or even a chrome tape. It was a black tape with blue and grey paper, and characteristic writings of Euronymous.

Euronymous wanted to release the recording, as this was the best we had with Dead. The recording was sold to Italian label Obscure Plasma, that later evolved into Avantgarde. Live in Leipzig was released on vinyl in July 1993. Euronymous was killed on August 10th" - Hellhammer, from "Live in Leipzig" booklet
