They are quite literally, "Oh my god, they were roommates!" and that's how I started shipping them. I'm also an enjoyer of height/size differences and senior/junior dynamics, which they also fit. Though, I guess most ships with Midori-chan would fall under height/size difference, but I digress 😅

Their homescreen lines are also super cute. Midori says whatever's on his mind and Ibara's comments are either thoughtful (see 🐍🥕 #01) or he's being a little mocking(?) about it, but also somewhat amused with Midori (see 🐍🥕 #20). I think they have a fun dynamic which I would love to see explored further since they (and their dorm, in general) get along well with each other. (Ahem, IbaMido shuffle when?)

Midori is someone who usually acts unmotivated and doesn't really like work, but when it comes down to it, he's not pulling any stops and is very dedicated, while Ibara is a workaholic, very focused and takes pride in his job. I think if they were made to take a job together, it would start out bumpy, but I believe they can end up succeeding.

Ibara's also a repressed little freak that would probably keel over if given physical affection, and I like to think Midori's a physically affectionate person when it comes to people he's close with. It would be fun to have Ibara's walls go down bit by bit and both of them navigating through the sheer awkwardness and the very big feelings (to put it lightly) of it all.

Also Yuzuru's reactions would be funny.
