The Boy Abomination || Castiel, Dean & Sam
I'll give you a day. I suggest you use the time wisely.
The words still rang through Dean's head as the Angel vanished into thin air, leaving nothing but the bitter aftertaste of the news he'd spilled to keep Dean company. It was starting to get dark out, and time was ticking away, precious time he could be spending with Sam, time he could be spending to find a solution to this problem. Because of all things they could be facing, this was one of the worst-case scenarios. Castiel had been given the assignment to kill Sam, 'God's Will' as he called it, and he'd given the boys a day to say their goodbyes to each other. Dean wasn't going to let things go over all that easily, though.
As he burst through the motel room door, Dean swung his duffelbag off of his shoulder and onto the table and crossed the room in a few paces, hooking his arm behind Sam's back and drawing him in for an embrace that was so strong it would possibly squeeze the life right out of Sam if he wasn't careful. He wasn't going to lose Sam. He wasn't ready for that. Not ever.
