the good place | anderson & rowan
@andy-montgo:
Anderson had been feeling a bit lonely recently, he didn’t want to bother any of his friends and spent a lot of his free time roaming around the island, sketching mostly, but times like this he just roamed without thinking, and yet he ended up in the cells. He blinked, looking around, before deciding to go back to the quad when he heard sobbing, without thinking he rushed to the cells, staring at the woman inside. When she spoke he bit his lip trying to keep from laughing. “ It make good television? Try to get a Emmy?” He suggested.

Was she being ridiculous? Probably. But since discovering the supernatural, she’d always kind of assumed ‘happily ever after’ would involve forever. To see a “happy ending” be so final was jarring, even if philosophically it made sense. Most likely this finale was hitting so hard because it was so final - most show characters she assumed moved on to live happy lives. “Well it’s fucking rude,” she sniffled, palms of her oversized sweater acting as a tissue to soak up her tears. Only then did she look up to see who was talking to her - he looked familiar, Rowan was pretty sure she remembered seeing him around the lounge, but they’d never met. At least not from what she remembered. “You can laugh, I get it. It’s a stupid thing to cry over, yet here we are.”
