Existential Crisis
Time stands still when I’m asleep A wakefulness I can dream Is this real or imaginary coming to terms with this makes me want to steer away What does this all mean I still ponder endlessly but I can’t give up tying these red threads to the seams I've found something you can’t take away I found something within Sometimes the world seems so fake that’s because we made it this way Unlearn everything, make every day count We have so much to say Can’t you see what youre doing to me to us, the world It’s so frustrating coming to terms with such advanced apathy I guess I’ll just leave this door open you can walk through or ignore it It’s your choice anyway but I won't hold my breath... I stare into eyes so empty some yearning, some wanting more EMPTY HEARTS, EMPTY MINDS Unnoticed and lonely We’ve all been there before so fuck it, take a stand STAND... for something more Can we change? WE CAN CHANGE Can we change? WE CAN CHANGE Can we change? WE CAN CHANGE and it makes me sick to share the same air with that which causes so much pain (coming to terms with this existence...) CARRY THE WEIGHT Don’t let the universe crush you
Writings
I have not written anything in awhile. Just can't really think of anything to write but, I have stuff I've written that I'm working on with my band A Need For Reason.
We just released an album titled "Growing." But we're right back at writing new stuff for anyone who cares and I'm gonna post the lyrics up after this brief explanation in a second post. I gained a lot of inspiration from a quote by Andrew Boyd. It's tough living in this world where everyone is living this sort of zombie like life just trying to get by. This is my fuck you to this life. Don't let the weight of life bring you down. Remember, things will always get better as long as you see it through. here's the quote “Compassion hurts. When you feel connected to everything you also feel responsible for everything. And you cannot turn away. Your destiny is bound with the destinies of others. You must either carry the Universe or be crushed by it. You must grow strong enough to love the world, yet empty enough to sit down at the same table with its worst horrors.” it'd be wonderful to hear some feedback maybe a reblog if you actually like it. and please please please check out my band!
