1. Who laughs at their own joke and who deadpans at the joke?
shit i realized halfway through answering this question that it does not, in fact, mean “who laughs at their own joke and who tells jokes completely deadpan”, but rather, “who laughs at their own joke and who deadpans at the other’s joke that the other is laughing at”. i was gonna say that they’re both kinda deadpan joke tellers, but nightshade’s more of a with-a-smirk joke teller than a true deadpan teller and angel either points to the joke they wrote down completely expressionlessly or (occasionally) laughing uncontrollably
but uhhh i can see nightshade sometimes telling a joke (with a smirk) and angel either not registering it as a joke or fully registering it as a joke but not laughing
2. If they had a secret handshake, how would it go?

i feel like they’d have like. one that looks completely normal to outsiders but isn’t (which, TIL, was the original use of them before they became elementary school friendship fun?? huh). like, they join hands as to shake them, but don’t move their arms for a solid two seconds, and then shake exactly twice
3. It’s movie night, what movies are they gonna watch together?
alright i still watch 0.75 movies a year so i’ll describe the movies they’d watch rather than naming specific ones that exist:
really bad ones, a good chunk of which are bad crime/mystery movies but that’s not all
old classics angel really likes
that gay shit
angel picks out most of the movies because That’s Her Thing and she has varied tastes in movies but she does like art films and good crime dramas like slightly more
not movie night but they do go see things in theaters a lot and then criticize the movies they just saw
