Today we finally took my dad home. He always said this is where God lives. I hope he was right. I think he was.

View through Angel’s Window - May 2018 This is the view of the Grand Canyon through the “Angel’s Window” rock formation on the North Rim. MWM
Twisted Tree - May 2018 Angel’s Window Viewpoint - North Rim of Grand Canyon There is a price for surviving in very harsh environments. This tree survives by channeling all moisture from its roots to smaller and smaller areas of its trunk, in effect, leaving the rest to die. It survives, but becomes twisted and almost grotesque. MWM
Beyond the Angel’s Window - May 2018 North Rim, Grand Canyon, Arizona There are several places where you can get a good view of The Angel’s Window as you drive along the north rim highway. With my zoom lens I was able to get a nice, tight shot from far enough away that the valley beyond the Window was visible. Then, when we stopped at the overlook for the window itself, I was able to get a wider view of what is beyond the Angel’s Window. That snaky line thousands of feet below is the Colorado River. MWM
