“I tried self pollinating this Mystacidium capense (AOS/FCC and CCE) 3 different years. No luck. I planned to try again this years but the flowers seemed not to last long, I thought the plant must be weak, so I decided not to try. Today I thought I should cut off the spent spikes, only to discover dozens of seed pods coming. Something was better than I was at pollinating.”
