The Dragon Slayer

“Feared is he who kills the dragons, he will be of fame” is what all the people said but he never came.

Years go by and people die as dragons roam the land. The people fear they cannot bear to die by fire’s hand. They hope in vain for one to come a prince with shining sword but all the pain and thoughts so glum seem t'be heard by their god.

For one day when two shepherds walk a dragon’s what they find a blade stuck deep inside its chest with eyes that look out blind. Within the hour the people know the happiest of news they soon expect the bravest prince and the dragons’ truce. 

But after nothing’d changed for days the people go around again and what they find is blood. A slaughter everywhere they look of dragons dead or dying fast with swords stuck in the gut.

And in the early morning sun a dark figure crosses the land tall, with thick thighs and muscled arms the saviour steps across the sand.

The armour bright with the sun’s light the sword, a sting still glistening with blood so red from dragons dead She smiles and silence falls in all her might after the fight she is standing inside the ring of those who said He’d be the threat to dragons standing tall.

“You-”, comes the cry, “seem too aghast, wasn’t all you asked that dragons die? Now it is done I’ve killed the beasts Where is my feast my gold, bright as the sun?”

A murmur goes now through the crowd, a cry: “This should not be allowed! A woman who saved us?” There is but one who loudly speaks a young woman with darkest cheeks who talks fast with no fuss:

“My lady we thank you you saved many souls but please do forgive us we may just be fools. Who are you, my lady? are you a princess? You sure are nobel to help us in distress”

“A princess I may be but I do prefer Ramona the free, the best warrior. I fought in great battles and all I have won the fight does not settle until I am done. Here I fought dragons and saved you your land; I once again won with my army unmanned. I do believe you still owe me my reward I have played my cards in this now do your part”

But all of the citizens just stand around and no one is willing to make the first sound.

The people of the dragon land have never payed there debt they wanted their own riches which Ramona should not get. This battle though they could not win not with a thousand men for as she said it did go down – Ramona won again.

Admired was she where she went the world lay to her feet but dragon land had much to pay for all their wicked greed. A shudder went now throuh the crowd whene'er they heard her name.

109. Is something irritating you right now?

Not really, besides the twenty odd things that could end up irritating me (i.e. close minded comments). But for now I’ll say my nausea and that Asahi just nose dived into the floor to join Suga.

113. What was your childhood nickname?

My name is so short anyway, I’ve never really had any cool nicknames. I remember some dumb clubs I was in during Primary which a) replaced the first letter in your name with a ‘w’ and b) gave you a fruit name. I was Kiwi.

Never really thought about it, to be honest. So… I can see arguments for and against it.

I mean, it was good by my standards. I got up kinda early, broke down in the car, I had my nails done for this weekend’s wedding and had dinner with my Dad and lil’ bro. I read out the lyrics to HSM songs while my brother freestyled (badly) along to them.

Ah yeah I’m glad you love it, feel free to use it! I have actually been seriously considering setting up on one of those sites where people can buy prints and shit of your art, and I’d be happy to use one where I can make buttons??  It just seems like there’s a lot of sites and I’m not sure which is the best for me to use, that will give my patrons the most options but also give me the best benefits as an artist D: Do you or anyone have suggestions???
