It’s common to read & think that Rx placements are weaker & harder to express but that’s simply not the case, beloved. If anything, Rx placements are more powerful than their direct counterparts & are the exact same placements but on steroids when living in the higher vibration of it. I personally look at retrograde placements as being dominant & you can’t convince me otherwise ;^>>. In a sense, natal retrograde placements are like permanent quincunxes/inconjunctions. You may have been at odds with it for a long time but once it’s handled, there’s no destroying it, you made a whole new hybrid of a placement & express it in such a unique way. One thing I’ve DEFINITELY noticed, is that when you have a planet or placement in retrograde natally in your chart, when that planet/placement is retrograde by transit, it acts direct for you. Everyone else with the direct planet/placement feels weird & uncomfortable but you with the native retrograde are THRIVING (as you should). Doesn’t matter if it’s a personal planet, outer planet or asteroid. For example: you may have your natal Mercury in Retrograde but when Mercury Rx is transit for everyone, YOU are having the best type of communication, the universe is aligning with you, perfect timing may be a theme, you’re getting new offers, you’re getting your points across without misinterpretation, etc. But everyone else feels like they are in a backwards spiral, no one is listening to them & they’re losing/breaking objects right in front of them/in their hands. Having a natal retrograde planet myself & it being the ruler of an angle, I honestly love it so much. Once you get through the introverted parts of the placement & release the energy, you will feel SO MUCH BETTER. Not gonna lie, growing up it felt like if you expressed it like everyone else, you were punished for it but that’s why it’s rx, you have to find a better outlet for it. You’re not meant to walk the same path as everyone else that have it direct. Rx planets are just more intense expressions of the direct ones because of the simple fact that it’s built open by analyzing, second guessing & introspection. Natal Rx placements make you more aware of the overall energy & when released its like an avalanche of rightful chaos because you’ve spent most of your life not expressing it the way everyone else does. I see natal Rx placements as unstable because that energy they harness can go haywire & they can overly express it or hold it in too much until they explode. Mercury Rx natives (natally) aren’t dumb/stupid, they actually are one of the smartest people because they sit back & analyze everything in their surroundings, think before they speak & perfected their communication, know how to ask the right questions & get the ball rolling. They can be very witty or even a smart ass. Mars Rx (I have this & Solange does... just think back to the elevator incident 😂😂) feel far more Martian & can be afraid that they will seriously harm or kill someone if they release their anger. Mars Rx sounds like the kid that got bullied for a long time & finally fights back/gets revenge & puts the bully in the hospital. Mars Rx natives may be extremely sexual or have that aura of promiscuity due to holding in their urges & not splurging, super energetic & never tired compared to their direct counterparts, known for having anger issues, probably has good survival skills, they may be small/fragile in frame yet still intimidate people & another manifestation is overly aggressive/assertive/arrogant & in your face. Probably has a bad boy/girl aura, lots of tattoos & piercings. I have my natal Chiron in Rx & ever since transit Chiron has been in Rx, I’ve been healing wounds I forgot I’ve had, healing the people around me, learning & passing on the wisdom I’ve acquired, etc*. BUT, it doesn’t matter if it’s your chart ruler (except the Sun/Moon because the lights can’t be Rx), personal planet, dominant planet, unaspected planet, asteroid, etc.. when you work through it, it will work in your favor especially when the Rx is transiting for everyone.
