me balling my eyes out so hard about my cat i almost didn't notice my support person blasting bad bunny on shuffle for me 😭 such a sweet little detail for him to notice as I have tried to be vocally pretty normal about him but my worker is a fan so igatydysyeyf- got to me so not normal about what brought me here & music in general, felt heard & a lot happier during this hard time.
i saw my kitty today but she's settling into our new home first, she's the world's best hide and seek player so she hid very very well inside a massive couch all day. i did it as a joke but for the like 10th time of me testing the theory, the one voice she will always respond to is that of Kendrick Lamar's. Everyone was trying to be all quiet & careful finding her and I just started blastin' the poem from the end of "I" and I immediately heard her move around into a comfy position, paused the kendrick, heard a sudden bump in the chair.
I then play a couple more songs, ones where Kendrick doesn't have any features are her favorite and the ones that do get her grumpy the second somebody else gets the spotlight that isn't the instrumental (she does like his main saxophone collaborator, Kamasi Washington, and his band at the least lol).
So I may not have seen her but I definitely felt her, she started to purr so I heard her too, and that's how I know she's just really found a cozy little hole. She will come out in time, and if not I have vitamins for her she can take to settle any anxious behavior. I can't wait to introduce her to all of the new music I've heard lately 😭❤️❤️
