A year ago, we had 6 chickens. 2 Brahmas, 2 Rhode Island Reds and 2 Comets. We are now down to 3. One of our chickens turned out to be a rooster.... and a MEAN rooster at that 👹 he kept attacking us, so we gave him to the owner of the local feed store. Then Zaxby got taken by something a few weeks back... and we lost HeiHei a few days ago. As an empath and INFJ, my heart BLEEDS for animals and losing them has been killing me. I know, I know. It’s just part of farm life, but my animal empathy runs deep. I’ve literally cried cause I hit a butterfly with my truck.
