@animaliae tagged me for my top books of the year so far, but I didn't really finished that many, I have a few books half read though, but I decided to finally make 2024 the year when I read One Piece and catch up, and that's being a long read task to complete by itself.

I'm having tons of fun with it!! I'm rediscovering the characters that i knew from my childhood when i watched the beginning of the anime over and over again when i saw it on tv, I'm learning new stories, meeting new people and also now I'm actually invested in the lore!

For me though, even if the lore and the cool powers are so much fun, One Piece is about how beautiful is to find true friendship to support each other through life and towards those dreams that seem impossible at times. The main group is wonderful as a team, but as individuals have great stories that made me laugh and cry and scream, which got me to care so much more each time they got in trouble again!!!

I really truly can't say who is my fave, because I feel that depends on whose story are you reading at the moment haha Though I think, as an easy pick, I would say Luffy as a protagonist gives me so much joy. He is hilarious, he is kind, he is reckless, he is the best friend you could ever ask for and he is going to be the king of pirates!!!!

Anyway, I want to keep it vague because I think char might read it eventually, if i poke them about it a bit more lmao but to say it in short, it is a great adventure to embark on! ;)
