Hi! I think your animation error au is brilliant. But I recently remembered there was an even earlier test pilot with a cruiser art style where they're actually grinding up a person. Was that an inspiration for this au as well?

Whilst I am honoured you think it's mine, I wish I could take credit for the incredible Animation Error AU, any and all credit goes to my favourite lesbian @trussego // @egosarchive !!! (@/egossketchdump on IG - unsure about X as I do not have/use it.)

I am a HUGE fan of her AU, so I can only offer researched answers opposed to fanon answers. To my knowledge the AU originated from this errored frame of the show (S3E4; Mutiny on the Windbreaker):-

Along with inspiration from The Last of Us, it does have some inspiration from the OG pilot, in that infected characters seem to transform into designs more resembling the original cannibal pilot designs! Re: this post featuring Tina's Daniel design.

I am honoured that my name even somehow gets associated with this AU, as it truly sparks so much creativity in my brain. It's honestly incredible. In fact, I'm shocked that I'm still yet to do any fan art of it. Hopefully I can change that soon! :D

Normally with fandoms the fanfiction and fancontent is a complete opposite of the show. Like with supernatural a lot of the interactions ive seen are more emotional, while with kids cartoons its very dark writing.

I think its because fans like putting their fave characters into situations that you normally don’t see them in and seeing how they would react to it.

Anyway Bob’s Burgers is like, consistently wholesome. The show just gets better and sweeter as it goes on and the fandom is super comforting and cute. Even with the animation error au its pretty funny and has some bonding.
