Lowkey crashing out rn someone help i need to find this anime
I watched a mecha anime with my childhood best friend forever ago and ive been ICHING to find it. I remember very little about it other than its a mecha anime. I don't know what year it was made, but we watched it on DVD. Definitely earlier than 2017 cause I think thats around the time I watched it. Idk how many seasons there were, but there was 3 like boxes of dvds for the whole thing.
I swear it was called like "War!" or something. Like it was a short name. The one scene I remember clear ish is the main character (who I think is a guy?) losing a fight or something and being super depressed about it. I feel like the mecha gave pacific rim vibes, but also not? I remember i watched the anime and pacific rim pretty close to each other and I think my brain mashed the two together a little bit.
Now that im tying it out, they did not give pacific rim vibes. Its more 86 type piloting. But still big robots.
I would ask the girl i watched it with, but we uh arent friends anymore and that would be awkward...... also might get reddit purely to ask this because I NEED to find this anime bro
