Here's 5 of the most captivating anime's I've watched that feel rare and underrated 🎀

Recommendations for slice of life, and sport anime lovers:

1. The Royal Tutor - slice of life, comedy, siblings.

Something I learned while watching: Don't give up on people! No one is stupid—be patient and keep trying 🤗 also don't judge a teacher by their height. Oh and there's pretty boys lol. And it's silly funny, I love how well it's balanced.

8.5/10 I'm biased 😌 I loved this anime! Episode 4 knocked my socks off.

2. Hinomaru Sumo - sports, slice of life, friendship.

LISTEN 👂! I'm not into sumo wrestling but guess what I wasn't into volleyball either. This is a hidden gem, don't judge it before you watch it. Honestly twas so cool! I was so into it. I was laughing at myself because it's not something I'd watch but- it might not be for you lol. I love tournaments + determination in anime!

8/10 I love me some sports anime y'all there's just something wholesome about it.

3. The Most Heretical Last Boss Queen - slice of life, reincarnation, friendship.

I was super into reincarnation anime's at some point, specifically, the villan side. I love how this girl changed! I just know I enjoyed it. I liked how romance wasn't the centre of things just improvement. There's action, there's the found family tropes!

8.1/10 idk how to rate I really liked this one. ^^ THAT pic is how HOW IT STARTS!

4. Welcome to the Ballroom (Ballroom e Youkoso)

I didn't find this anime it found me.

Literally. I was minding my business, looking for something to watch but then you show up on YouTube. Mind you I'm not a subtitles girlie, I'm too lazy for that but- oh I watched it one go.

8.2/10 all my ratings are similar cause these was good stuff!

It was interesting and refreshing!

No action, no romance, but this boy had an interest in ballroom dancing? The way their bodies moved- maybe his life wouldn't be so boring after all.

It was something different fr!

5. Run With The Wind - sports, comedy, slice of life, friendship!

Just watch it! 🏃‍♀️

If you loved Haikyuu you're in for a treat! This anime is re-watch worthy it literally had me get into running (within the space of my room I'm not that crazy). It was AWESOME! 😭 Humour on point, motivation, storyline, pacing loved how well it flowed.

8.7/10 AHHHHHH

Mashle Exam Arc Episode 3

THIS ADORABLE LITTLE 9 YEAR OLD BEAT ALL THE MIDDLE SCHOOLERS. I LOVE THEM. THEY LOOK SO CUTE 'N SAD 'N TRAUMATIZED BY SOMETHING.

This episode is SO MUCH FUN getting to see Margarette's magic and use of music. It's some of the least stupid English I've heard so far (still funny though), and they get to fight RAYNE!!

It's your standard battle shonen episode, so tons of screen shots below!

So we know that everyone has their own individual magic and also the basic spells that everyone can cast. This episode is a lovely example of how individual magic can be used in a unique way. Sound isn't normally something you'd think of in a battle anime, and while it is to some degree literally just music notes being summoned and smashed against swords that have been summoned and are flaying around causing explosions, the WAY it might be doing that is really fun. (Mainly to me because I have a story I tried writing/world building in where the magic system is based on sounds and music.)

But First.

WHY is there suddenly a freaking piano in the middle of the forest? Did we get transported to Piano no Mori? lmao, nope, no CGI fingers here. I'M SO CURIOUS AS TO THE PURPOSE OF THE PIANO. If it's a powerup then it takes a damn long time, but if even Rayne is thrown off then maybe it it's legit just IM HAVING TOO MANY EMOTIONS MUST GET THEM OUT for Margarette.

THE DEADPAN WTF FACES. AND MARGARETTE JUST JAMMING OUT.

These two photos were really pretty, I kind of want to use them as wallpapers.

Margarette's flex after this little solo is beautiful.

"Compared to myself who genuinely sought nothing but strength, and you who sought a superficial position. Which one of us is stronger?"

Love this. They might be weird as shit but they have the power to back it up and the confidence to go with it. (But also... accusing Rayne of going after a 'superficial' position while going to take out some random nonmagical because of Orter is... in some ways hypocritical and others makes sense because Margarette just want's to fight someone who is strong and that's all they're really gaining from this. And Rayne obviously acknowledges that strength and comes to stop them, knowing or possibly just assuming that Mash wouldn't be able to handle them right now.)

Sounds Vs Partisan

This spell summons a bunch of explosive music notes of all types. I'm curious if they're always explosive, or if they can just be used as blunt objects to hit things with.

Partisan

This is a hilarious and apt name for Rayne's magic, a man who wants justice to be seen in this world and is on Mash's side despite him not having magic. It's the same spell that Mash fought against in the first season, and is a bunch of physical swords that go and stab stuff? And then dispell/disappear I assume, even though Mash was able to grab one and use it as a bunting bat lolol

MAN THE ANIMATION HERE IS BEAUTIFUL. We have a beautiful combination of CGI spells and hand drawn 2D animation that is possibly rotoscoped? I'm not very well versed in animation terms outside of knowing it looks HELLA COOL.

Howling Sounds

At first it looks similar to Lance's gravity spell, but its an AOE with a ton of sound waves pushing down on Rayne, stopping his movement. I wonder if his eardrums are okay? A bunch of notes then appear in the air around Rayne, and Margarette warns him not to cast any magic as the notes will explode in response to spell casting. I wonder if it's the vibrations of any magic being cast or the vibrations of speaking the spell name?

The Board Game

OF COURSE the magical Life board game would use divination magic lmfao.

Finn being the only "normal" one is so wonderful because it's VERY OBVIOUS HE'S ALSO NOT NORMAL. Look at those pupils! THEY DON'T EXIST. HE ONLY HAS EMPTY SCLERA JUST LIKE HIS BROTHER. WHEN DO WE GET TO KNOW HIS FUCKED UP STUFF BECAUSE I'M 99% SURE IT'S THERE.

EVERYTIME we get a serious shot and look at Finn, his eye's stand out so damn much. Same with Rayne to a degree, but we don't see him as much as we see Finn. I WANT TO KNOW!! RAGE
