He stilled, the glass of wine lifted towards his lips as the sensation of being watched tickled up his spin. Finishing the ship, his gaze flicked to the walls around the elaborate table they were eating at. Settling upon a girl in the corner who was.....staring at him?

A line appeared between his brows as they furrowed slightly before he leaned back and began staring at her in return. Face becoming flat, void of emotion to hide his true feelings, as he waited for her to realize that he'd noticed her attention.

Pausing in the hallway, the bathrobe he'd found in his quarters neatly secured around his waist, his attention shifted from one side to the other. The servant that had led them up here had told them out to find the wardrobe but for fucks sake which direction had she said again?

Giving up he started walking down the hall, gaze flicking into each room that he passed before finally finding someone dressed in a uniform dusting. Pausing in the doorway he rapped his knuckles on the polished wood. "Hey, where's the wardrobe again?"

Glancing up from where he was toweling off his hair, a secondary towel hanging from his hips, his gaze fell to the open door to the room that he'd been given to wash up in. Dark hues fixed on the girl he'd seen outside with the other servants, watching her for a moment while trying to figure out what she could want. His own suspicions about the butler and other caretakers of the estate ticking up a notch at the unexpected intrusion even as he waited for an explanation as to why she'd come in.
