I have no idea what Anion, Dio, Hychel, and Lect look like so uh…yeah.

also headcanon that Hy had a bunch of hats like the one he wore into the arena so his family just kept passing them on and so Hychel wore one into the arena too.

also Anion cuts her own hair now so it looks…not great.

anion brooks.

she was the last of the district 5 tributes to die. despite her arguments with the others, she would have died for any of them. watching them die really affected her.

tends to like to take the lead on things which causes her to but-heads with other people. she has to feel like he’s in control.

incredibly intelligent and would have been really useful for the rebel plot. it’s a shame she wasn’t included.

DiAnion Blurb

(Inspired by the challenge PersephonePrice is doing but I’m doing it unprompted!)

District 5 remembers their dead. Anion Bakirtzis was one of them. Brilliant and Pessimistic. She had scuffles with Dio but they never were in bad faith.

District 3 remembers their own. Dio Luminosi. Her surname meant bright, and it stayed true. She was brilliant too. She toiled with Anion, yet never did it with malice.

But then, the molten gold seeped through the paradise. It took their lives, and forever shattered the Luminosi and Bakirtzis families for good. Their fights were never in vain however.

Dio reached her own two hands out to Anion, and Anion took those hands. Earning her net charge of -2. The Capitol saw it as an ionic bond. One gives, another takes. But the districts knew that was far from the truth.

Their bond was covalent rather, when both atoms equally share their electrons between each other in order to reach stability. Dio and Anion equally reached their hands out to each other. Those days of fighting so much were behind them, in favor of coming to terms and finding their peace, thereby becoming a stable double-bonded nonpolar molecule.

They held on even after death. Their ashes mixed and buried in District 3’s scrapyard and District 5’s cryogenic chambers.

To this day, you may hear the sound of burning. Fear not. It’s a peaceful flame. Energy and Mass converting, but never being destroyed.
