Anismo; an evolving organism game.
Anismo is influenced by the cell stage of Spore, but unique in its own ways.
Currently Anismo is in development by two students. One is an amataeur game developer while the other is a pixel artist that has helped others with their projects. This includes the Aether mod for Minecraft.
Our end goal for Anismo is to have the players strive to reach the top of the food chain or at least avoid becoming food. They can become dangerous carnivores that devour everything and anything. Or omnivores that are too well protected to be harmed. The herbivores could also become untouchable due to speed and other traits. As they eat, these organisms grow and evolve changing their appearances and even what they eat.
There will be several stages of evolution which increases the organism’s stats. Players also have the option to place new parts on their cells that boost other aspects of the cell such as defense, damage, and other utility aspects such as speed. Organisms will be carnivorous, omnivorous, or herbivorous. Each has their own traits that boost certain stats.
