Beautiful old rustic home in Cheltenham, England that’s full of warmth and charm.

The living room gets lots of natural light thru the large window. Look at the huge fireplace, and it’s on a platform, so you could sit close by in winter. Old walls, beams and wooden doors give the home history and charm. Notice how old the stairs are, too. 

There’s another amazing stone fireplace in the dining room. Look at the hardware on the door. There’s so much history here.

The kitchen is lovely- like the way they remodeled it- nothing over-top-modern. Notice the Aga stove, too.

In the small room they use for an office, there are hand hewn ceiling beams that they whitewashed. I don’t know where the ladder leads, but it could go up to the  bedrooms, even though there’re stairs.

Beautiful bedroom. I like how they painted the walls blue, instead of leaving them white. The wood is gorgeous.

This room has a lovely mural, and it looks sort of faded, so it adds interest without overdoing it.

The bathroom is very sweet and modern, but if you look closely, you can see the toll that modern heat and hot water pipes take on the old plaster walls.

Your girl got some antiques the other day!

I can’t decide which I like more! The doctors bag or the book, the book could take up more of my time and is more interesting factually but the bag is a lot more tangible and thus is gives me a lot more food for though

The book is in practically perfect condition while the bag has some major tearing in the fabric on the inside of the bag, not that I mind but
