“Miss Annabelle, there you are!”

“Please, sir, Anna is fine.”

“Very well. I am Argentum, from the western kingdom. I trust you remember the assistance I sent when your mother died?”

“The extra military support, right? The thought was appreciated, but not necessary. We haven’t had any major conflicts for many decades.”

“My apologies, then. The northern kingdom is simply a valuable ally. My father suggested that with the shock of what happened, somebody might take advantage and attack. I suppose I was being a bit paranoid.”

“Well, thank you, either way. But... Why exactly are you here now?”

“Well, I’m sure Bertolli explained that I wanted to check in, but I also wanted to discuss something with you about the southern kingdom.”

“If you have any concerns with them, shouldn’t you speak with the king there?”

“Well, I tried, but last year they blocked any people from the western kingdom from entering or leaving their kingdom. It’s quite problematic, as I have several of my subjects there that were simply on vacation at the time. It’s terrible because I’m not even allowed to go an talk to the king about it! That’s where you come in.”

“Hm... Are you saying that since the northern and southern kingdoms are at peace with each other, I may be of some help to you? Don’t think I haven’t heard about the skirmishes... But... What can I do? I’m still new at this whole queen stuff, you can’t expect me to handle stuff like this!”

“Oh! No-no! Plase, you misunderstand! I certainly don’t expect you do to do this alone! But... I’m sure you’ll have to go to the southern kingdom, since they are pretty isolated. That means I can’t some with you. So what I was thinking was that I could help you out by giving some tips.”

“That sounds... Reasonable. I suppose. About how long should this take?”

“No more than a week or two, I assure you!”

“... Very well.”

“... And you’re certain he isn’t some suitor, either?”

“Miss Anna, at least give him a minute of your time! It’s polite.”

Anna: As far as I know, mother wasn’t planning anything... So I’ll just try and keep things the way they were for now.

Anna: Blythe says it’s because of the nectar... Which would make sense! It’s a shame flowers take forever to bloom here. They’re both pretty and tasty!

Anna: The 14th isn't really a big day of celebration for me, since I don't have a significant other and I'm simply turning a year older.

Anna: Though I do regret sleeping all day because now I'm really groggy...

Anna: But I think that's because of the circumstances. They're not giving me the whole workload just yet.

Anna: Also... I've been having a few nightmares. But... I've kind of blamed stress for those.

Anna is now queen
