I went on a sci-fi romance binge and I’m here to report that there IS extraterrestrial life out there and it is sexy and looking for luurve.

Books read in 2017 (so far):

90-92. Anna Hackett’s Galactic Gladiators series, books 1-3.

Earth ladies get sold into intergalatic slavery only to wind up on a gladiatorial fight planet with hunky yet honorable gladiator aliens willing to do anything for love. By the third book, I got a little tired: it’s basically the same story repeated. 3 stars each.

93-94: Milana Jack’s Beast Mates series, books 1 & 2.

Beasts, half wolf, half humanoid aliens, took over Earth after human beings destroyed it in a nuclear war. And it turns out beasts can mate with human women! And that they are fated mates! And there is a conspiracy of evil men trying to overthrow the beast government and ruin love for everyone. Grrr men are the worst. These are novellas, so the worldbuilding isn’t great. 3 stars each.
