Enola Holmes is so good why didn't anyone tell me
We're like 40 minutes in (paused for dad's laundry to change) and the actors are such powerhouses omg, and Enola's face acting at the camera is so good? I love this. Mycroft makes me so mad it's great. Andor's mom is here and she angers me too but aw man she's owning this rile, and that slap, oof! Ugh, Mycroft (derogatory).
Aw man the costume department killed it with this one.
Mycroft entering his second (third?) scene: "Ugh, feminism." And "I'm not the bad guy here!" Okay bud, ya went off about your mum and sister "stealing your house" after your dad died and all that other shit, I'm sure this won't be a story about how you're the bad guy lol
Um what else did I note... Ah yeah, Enola your mom told you not to let people take you off your path "especially men", but you can rest easy on going back for the marquess, he's not a man, he's a boy! You're both Escaping Family Situations, saving him was definitely the right call.
Love the scene in the shop. Fascinating how different the shopkeep looked once Enola brought out money--like her anger and disdain made her ugly and when her tune was changed and she looked beautiful?
Dad says "I don't think there's going to be much sleuthing" and the movie proved him wrong immediately.
Oh yeah, great movie!! Oh Enola was Stranger Things's Eleven, I thought she looked familiar.
