The first four stories in this series are more fantasy than reality based but fun quick steamy reads that will more than likely provide something for most readers to enjoy…if they don’t want a sweet rather tame romance ;)
Eve Kent has a party business with a princess theme for the young fairytale crowd. Her father was in a motor cycle club and was taken to prison for years leaving Eve and her brother to their own devices. Eve’s brother “Rocker” has followed in his father’s footsteps and put his sister in danger. Stepping into her life comes another MC member from another club that needs to keep his eye on her. Rev is an ex-SEAL and one bad boy but with a good heart. Keeping Eve safe is Rev’s main focus but doing so and remaining true to his brothers in the club is not always easy. Rev and eve steam up the pages in this quick read introducing a new series. This is not nearly as dark and gritty as many MC books.

Legal Seduction by Lisa Childs
Simon Kramer was on the street as a child but over time, with the help of his three buddies, the four have managed to get an education and open their own law practice. There is a spy in their midst and Simon is on the lookout for who it might be. Bette Monroe, his personal assistant, seems to be a likely candidate so his intention is to get her to admit it…one way or another…even though she has just tendered her resignation. Bette’s dream is to make it big in fashion and with that a possibility she is more than ready to move on…but…she might just want a taste of Simon before she leaves. The mystery is not resolved by the end of the book and my guess is that the three other partners will have their stories told in the future. This was a quick easy read set in the workplace and definitely more fantasy than reality but fun to read.

Off Limits by Clare Connolly
Sizzle, steam and sensual delight are part and parcel of this story. And, what a story it was!
In-house counsel, Lady Gemma Picton, has worked for billionaire widow Jack Grant for two years when suddenly the dynamics of their relationship change. Jack has always been a challenge to work for with his busy work schedule and the flirting, boozing and many women he moves through. But when he begins to focus on Gemma…oh my…! This book is explicit with encounters in and out of the bedroom making for a tantalizing read that I could not put down. I liked Gemma and her willingness to reach out and take what she wanted even though it meant she might not ultimately see her ending up where she hoped to be. I liked the fact that Jack, hound that he was, began to eventually realize that the future he had envisioned for himself might be more and better than he thought it would be. The two do get their HEA but have to jump through a few hoops before it comes to fruition. Oh, Gemma’s granny was someone I wouldn’t mind being compared to at some point in the not too distant future – what a role model she provided for Gemma!

A Week to be Wild by JC Harroway
Olivia Noble has gone to England from New York to deliver a speech at the request of a prestigious group. Little did she realize that billionaire Alex Lancaster suggested she give the speech and that his interest in her had more to do with desire than her marketing abilities. Negotiations between the two sees Olivia agreeing to stay for a week to assist Alex’s charity launch something close to his heart and also…spending time together enjoying much more pleasurable activities. As with most books of this genre there are steamy scenes, some romance, fun activities, a peak that separates them and the coming together again by the end of the story. I had trouble seeing these two together for most of the first half of the book and even toward the end wondered what they saw in one another. This is a somewhat predictable story with plenty of explicit situations to tantalize the reader. It definitely meets the criteria Harlequin DARE imprint has specified it will provide.
