SATURDAY 25 April 7PM ADT (Halifax) can you even believe it. THE Megan Follows (THE Anne!) is reading Chapter 37. Join us for a very special #Annedemic episode and share, share, share.
At 7PM (AST)/ 6PM (EST) 3PM(PST) on April 4th on The East Pointers FB page I will be taking part in #Annedemic. The East Pointers have invited their friends to join them in reading aloud, online via their Facebook page, a chapter per night of the Canadian classic, “Anne of Green Gables.” An online donation platform will open just before we start the first reader and close at the end of the book - in 38 days. The division of the income for the project, when we finish the book, is as follows: 40% to readers, 40% to the Unison Benevolent Fund, which supports musicians in crisis and 20% admin. I have chosen, along with some others, to donate my proceeds to Unison. We know a lot of people are in a pinch, so we’d love to have you join us in watching, whether you donate or not. I will be reading my chapter aloud in the spirit of online artistic community, connection and celebration of PEI, at The East Pointers. I hope to see you there!
