Over the last year in between my crazy schedule, I’ve been composing & recording a deeply personal piece for solo violin & looping pedal. Last week I performed part of it featuring textile designer @taacabral_ and movement artist @annmariego & @rina_espiritu at a charity event benefitting #AnnieCannons. This video is from rehearsal: the performance and music is meant to draw the listener into those places we are sometimes afraid to go to in our minds... the constant struggle within & with the world around us, and the courage to find beauty in it all. 🎻🎻🎻🎻🎻 I’m so close to releasing this music into the world, and show you all a different side of me in the process.
