• the two were already basically dating in their odd, not really dating way. they were acting like boyfriends, so when they first told people their dating everyone bar maxwell was “wait you weren’t already?!oh.”

• jacobi often wakes up to find kepler already awake, and in the kitchen with plates of food- thats his way of dealing with nights where he can’t sleep. jacobi’s way is by sneaking out of bed and throwing himself on the couch to watch shitty tv for a few hours

• the first time either of them openly said they loved the other was at five in the morning, when neither of them could sleep so they took a walk down to the beach. hand in hand, of course- and contrary to what most think, it was kepler who said it first.

• kepler proposed on another walk on the beach, kneeling in the sand with an expression jacobi had never seen before. jacobi, obviously, said yes.

• if they’re having a particularly bad night, where neither of them can sleep, kepler often tries to teach jacobi how to make some basic foods. he never succeeds, and jacobi just tends to end up with flour in his hair.
