Got my copy of LVOE by @atticuspoetry right on time- November first. After pre-ordering in June. But as always, the first few days of November got away from me because of NaNoWriMo. So today, after Undercurrent and literally right before Atticus went live right here on Instagram, I read, annotated, photographed and reviewed my copy. I love that this collection feels like it was meant for autumn. And that from every angle the entire book looks different. And that the art and text- styles pair so beautifully - enhancing the story. Each Atticus book feels alike - but without getting boring because there are new stories and places and adventures tied together by the common theme of relationships, memories, cigarettes and adventure. To be honest, I don't go as far as Atticus seems to - but I like to believe that's how I'm living too. In poetry and adventure and even taking stock of my vices and what they add to the overall picture of me.
