You know, I really love it when my seemingly useless activities can benefit humanity even in little ways. But... NOT THIS WAY!
MY BROTHER JUST USED MY MOST FAVORITE KAWAYAN STICK TO PERCH HIS DAMN CHICKEN!
to those who don't know me, I collect sticks for the heck of it, and I'm really protective of my sticks, especially this one in particular because it's a shiny rare kawayan.
Huwat? Oh Bathalang broken-hearted, two years old na pala ako ngayon?
Salamat sa aking 1100+ followers na napagtyagaan ang mga mahahaba kong ano-po social rant at napagtiisan ang History in Konyo kong kagaguhan.
But why I chose the name Ano-po?
Putting Ano po in the beginning of tagalog sentences means you're asking in a very respectful manner. Putting Ano po in the end of tagalog sentences is the most obviously disrespectful and sarcastic way to rhetorically state a question. It shows the inconsistency of tagalog, it's multifunctional forwardness or passiveness. It shows the richness in lower class, and the submission of upper class. It means life in the Philipp ---
Went to school by a helicopter
So there was this story from Ateneo that a student, child of a Congressman, went to school by Helicopter.
That story reached La Salle, U.P. and UST.
Siguro akala n'ya sikat na sya kase ang yaman n'ya. No. Schoolmates got angry. Not because we were jealous, but because that money he just wasted to get to school came FROM OUR POCKETS!!!
In addition, Atenistas were tired of being called mayabang of their wealth when in reality half of their population is a scholar. Imagine being so poor and your parents being minimum wager that they cannot send you to college, pero sa awa ng diyos matalino ka at nakakuha ng scholarship but you still need to work part time while studying and 20% of your little salary (pre-TRAIN) goes to the goverment. Pero okay lang, because that's your duty as a citizen, then one day makikita mo 'tong kaklase mo na anak ng kongresman nag-helicopter kase trip nya. At naisip mo, dun lang pala napunta ang mga pinaghihirapan mo.
That rumor did not appear in national news, but it woke the anger of millions of scholars from top 4 unis.
I was a scholar of LaSalle, my parents were simple workers who had to close their eyes before giving 20 - 30% of their salary to the government. I was, of course, very angry.
That was our wealth they were wasting!!!
Filipino Lessons #7 [Tagalog]
OKAY
Okay is an 19th century word with complicated origin. It has evolved into two known functions: As a declarative expressing agreement, and as an adjective expressing neutrality. Of course, Tagalog has separate words for both.
As a declararive: Okay = Sige
Okay. I will go. = Sige. Punta ako.
As an adjective: Okay = Ayos
It looks okay. = Mukhang Ayos.
Bisaya has no know adjective equivalent for okay. If expressing neutrality, Bisaya uses "Sakto ra" which translates to "Just Enough".

Thank you for 650 followers!!! Cuz of that, here's three useful facts about me.
1.) I was so religious that I pray the Rosary every night before sleep during Grade 8 but I never finish the third mystery.
2.) I can do the card and Ginebra trick. ((you know. When you have no pitcher to mix the mixer and Gin so you just put the bottles' mouth together with a card in the middle then you pull the card elegantly so liquid equilibrium happens. Yeah that.))
3.) I believe ASEAN engineers should be recognized in EU and I want to be the one to lobby it by using my carefully-thought plan that involves charming the Indonesian and Malaysian Ministers and seducing a french EU head of engineers with my Ginebra trick. But to do this, I will need the dramatic support of the Philippine Media.
